Need you now

So today is much much better than yesterday. Thank the Lord. I feel very calm and taken care of, because I know God is taking care of me and my family.  There is also a song I just love and can so relate to that comes on K-Love. If you haven't heard it I want to encourage you to do so. It is Need you now by plumb. It is very real to me when I would feel very discouraged and completely overwhelmed Here are a few lyrics....

How many times have you heard me cry out"God please take this"?How many times have you given me strength toJust keep breathing?Oh I need youGod, I need you now.

So It brings encouragement to me because no mater what the situation, God still brings me through everything. That doesn't mean everything is all peaches and cream and works out how I plan. No I don't want that, I want it to work out according to God's plan. Let me tell you that has been a long road to grasp. It is hard handing control over, but I know that is what is best for me and my family.

On another note Chris sent me a pic of a tractor he likes and turns out its fabulous. Its very old school and I love it.
oh isn't she pretty :)
I mean how cute!

I am also using my cup I got for going to church with Misty and Aarron on Sunday :)

love my new cup

We worked in the garden yesterday and we hope to be able to plant by this weekend. So that is great progress!! I feel so encouraged every time I get to work out there. Even the pesky mosquitoes didn't take away my happiness :)

So i found this verse for today.

Jeremiah 29:11-12
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

What a great verse.  It gives me mountains of hope. I like this one too. These just make me feel so peaceful when I read and reread them.
Philippians 4:6-7
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I especially like the do not be anxious about anything :) I choose to be calm and peaceful. Amen.
Speaking of being calm---Chris is currently meeting with his boss. And I have prayed along with a coworker and feel so calm and know whatever comes out of this situation whether it seems like not fantastic news, it is what's best. We pray for God's will to be done in this meeting and I know we have God's favor and that folks is enough for me :) Amen!

  2. Oh every day I get much needed encouragement! Things I know but so easily forget in the midst of problems! I LOVE the antique tractor-much more than the John Deere! And I will be needing updates on Chris' meeting please!
