It's farming time

Good Morning! I usually am not a fan of Monday's but I woke up today thanking God for a new wonderful day. I need to have early prayer time or my day will be all well crappy. It really really helps listening to K-Love in the mornings and at work during the day. Don;t get me wrong, I am very, very human and still let in the little uglies and allow them to ruin my day. I have to catch those thoughts and tell them where to go!
my hand tiller
don't laugh we were being resourceful with a post hole digger

So update from farm country. We have started our vegetable garden and by start I mean marked off the area. Baby steps folks :) We were doing this completely 1800's style. I mean with a hoe and hand tiller. The next day I thought maybe a gas tiller would really help us actually be able to plant this year. I was even more excited when we got 10% off the price of it, woohoo. Thank you Lord!

Unfortunately it was raining all weekend so I could not start with my new tiller. All i could do is look at it and tell people I got it haha! I get very excited over the little things. I am very excited to start working outside. I told my mom I feel like this is the first step in farming class :) I sure am glad my teacher is God and He gives me plenty of direction. I will certainly update with pictures along the way.

We like to be silly
I just want to end with one of my favorite verses (it's even hanging on my wall at home)
Philippians 4:13.. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This verse is very powerful. It helped me finish my first(and only so far) half marathon. Just saying. :)

 Happy Monday Folks!!
