Take a deep breath

So I have been a little out of touch, in every way possible. I was overwhelming myself with silly life things. I am sure we all do that. I also had a tragic event happen at work that just really messed me up mentally. I just could wrap my head around it. I was just emotionally crazy crazy and all over the place. Luckily I was helping plan my sister's baby shower so that helped keep my mind off of things. I can finally post what I made for her! I have been holding out for about a month haha! I took up(or tried) crocheting. I made a blanket for baby Merrit and began one for little Kynslie.

 I just wanted to make something special for Merritt. This is truly a miracle baby and I believe it is a miracle I was able to make that blanket :) God is good! I am excited to complete Kynslie's blanket. She is wonderful niece and I got to see her so much this past week and really enjoyed it!!

Guess what!!! The hubs shaved!!! I know pure crazy town, but he looks so handsome :)

I was glad to get home of course but I loved staying and seeing my sis and everyone.

I was feeling kind of bad yesterday of course because it was church day. So I knew the service was going to be good because the devil didn't want me to go. I can recognize those feelings!! Guess what the service as amazing! I just loved it! I most definitely think it was something I needed to hear and it really encouraged me!
I was so thankful!

I have just yelled this out when I heard it the last week or so. Its helped me and I love when it comes on!
I have also caught Addy singing the songs on KLOVE and it just melts my heart. There she is 4 years old and she is praising God. I love it!
Praise God in everything, He has our back and we can run to Him.

P.S. I have been encouraged.. I have come across thoughts that said You are progressing, do you not see where you have come from. And that is exactly right. We are becoming some good farmers already! :)
We are about to get chickens and our garden is producing.. Hello!! God is Great folks! just be encouraged. Pray that His will be done in your life, He wont leave you!!!

The right stuff..

OK. Am I the only one who started singing the right stuff by nkotb after seeing the title.. Well that's ok if I was the only one, I break out in song all the time soo haha.
Anyway.. I have been feeling like I have been avoiding myself by ignoring my blogging. This is no good for me. I'm not really sure why I have not"found" time but I have been avoiding the encouragement that comes along with doing this and I don't know about y'all but I need it and every day at that!

Let me catch up... let's see I got to spend time with my 3 friends this past weekend. That was fab! and my bestie Jess will be moving closer the end of this month.. yahoooo!

I got my shirt that i wanted. I was going to wait, but I figured let's declare this now!

 

 

Our garden is looking good too. We have corn, squash, zucchini, watermelons, okra, tomato, bell peppers and little celery coming up. I cant wait until they grow a lot!! Chris did pick a jalapeno pepper that was ready. He said it was good!

 

I also got him that farmer shirt! Oh yes I did!!

 

 

I like it so that's all that matters :)

So I have been struggling like any one these last couple of weeks. I have given in to those raunchy lies.. yuck yuck. Why do we do that. God gives us so much encouragement and promises but yet i listen to a lie that i am not good enough.. what is that... yuck yuck.

 

I am so thankful to have such wonderful people around me to keep me encouraged.

 

I am also very glad I get to see my sis this weekend. It really hit me again how great God is. I looked at a pic she posted of her baby bump. Long story very short this is such a miracle baby! Sista is a walking pregnant miracle and it is so encouraging to see her! We prayed and prayed for this child and I cannot wait until baby M arrives!

 

On a completely different note.. our farm is growing.. we will soon be adding chickens to our land.

Oh yeah this is happening :)
